How do I cold brew iced tea?

Add 8 heaped teaspoons of your favourite EQ State tea to one iced tea filter, place it in 1 litre of room temperature water, and steep in the fridge for 8 to 12 hours overnight.

Remove the filter, pour over ice, and enjoy!

How much iced tea does one filter make?

Each filter is designed to make 1 litre of cold-brewed iced tea and can hold up to 8 heaped teaspoons of loose-leaf tea.

How are these different from regular tea bags?

Each filter is about 5x the size of a regular tea bag, giving loose-leaf tea more room to expand, infuse, and release flavour.

Are these filters plastic-free?

Yes. They are microplastic-free and made from unbleached wood pulp, so your tea steeps without the chemicals and plastic.

Are they reusable?

No. EQ Iced Tea Filters are designed for single-use brewing to keep cold brewing clean and mess-free.

Once you’re done, simply remove the filter and compost it.

Where do you ship from, and how long does delivery take?

Every order ships directly from our home in Oakville, Ontario - not a warehouse.
Most orders ship within 24 hours and arrive in 2 to 7 days across Canada.

Do you ship to Canada and the U.S.?

We currently ship Canada-wide only.
Due to ongoing tariffs, we’re not shipping to the U.S. at this time.

Are EQ State teas available in stores?

Not yet - and that’s by design. We’ve chosen to stay personal and local before going into retail stores.

You can find us at pop-up markets across the GTA or enjoy FREE local pickup at The Blue Café (216 Oak Park Blvd, Unit 107, Oakville).

How do I track my order?
